About Us
Founded in 2019 as a spin-off of the Helvetian Investment Club, HIC Capital is the student-run investment fund at the University of St.Gallen.

HIC Capital operates a virtual long-only fund with a global mandate. The investment process embodies the St. Gallen ethos, bringing academic rigor to bear on real-world problems. The investment decisions are based on an extensive fundamental analysis.

The fund actively recruits the best and brightest students at the University of St.Gallen each year through a highly selective admissions process. The recruitment cycle for our analyst program takes place at the beginning of each fall semester. The team currently encompasses over 30 passionate analysts, sector leads, and board members.

About the Fund
We run a virtual long-only fund with a global mandate. Every semester, our seven sector teams pitch a stock in their respective sector to add to the portfolio. These pitches are then evaluated by the investment committee which makes the final decision on if the stock should be added to our portfolio.
